10 T butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar packed
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 cans sweet condensed milk
28 oz coconut
2 tsp vanilla
5 cups bittersweet chocolate loosely placed in cup measure

Preheat oven 350.
LIne 9x13 pan with foil and spray nonstick
In small bowl, cream butter and brown sugar till combined. Add flour and salt. Pat evenly into prepared pan. Bake 8 min.
In large bowl add milk, coconut,and vanilla. Spread over crust and bake 20 to 25 min, until begins to brown. Melt chocolate over double boiler and stir till smooth. Pour over coconut bars and spread even. Allow to cool for an hour.

*Use chunks not chips, 70% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Chunks. Sometimes use half bittersweet and half semisweet! Almonds can be added too!
