Cake:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 ripe bananas (mashed)
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
2 cups flour or cake flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped nut (optional)
1 cup chocolate chips

Frosting:
1 cup butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar


Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Add dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into 1 greased 8 x 8 Nonstick cake pan. Bake at 350º for 50-60 min. or until toothpick comes out clean.

Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and milk. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar at a time. Spread over cooled cake.

Note: To make layered cake. Cut in half horizontally. Spread frosting on bottom half. Then spread frosting on top layer. Keep refrigerated.
