Sliced white bread
Butter
1 lb. bulk sausage
16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 doz eggs
Salt and pepper
Frank's Hot Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Butter the bread on one side and placed face down in the 9 x 11 pan. Continue until pan is covered.

Brown the sausage and drain off any fat. Sprinkle the sausage over the bread.

Cover the sausage with the shredded cheese.

Mix the eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper and Frank's Hot Sauce as you wish.

Pour 2 cups of the eggs over the cheese. Cover the casserole with a final layer of bread. Pour the remaining eggs over the bread.

Cover with aluminum foil and let sit overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350º. Bake the casserole for 1 hour, remove the foil for the last 15 minutes to brown the bread. Cut into squares and serve while hot.

Bread cubes can be used as a variation. Mix everything together and pour into a buttered 9 x 11 pan, let sit overnight and bake as above.
