1 broiler/fryer chicken (3.5 – 4lbs)
2 Tbsp paprika
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 ½ tsp onion powder
2 Tbsp garlic powder or 3 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place all the ingredients, other than the chicken, into a small bowl and stir in water by the teaspoon until a paste forms. If not using a slow cooker liner, spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray. Now, coat the chicken inside and out with the paste and then put into the crockpot, breast side up.

Cover and cook on low for 7 hours. Prior to taking the chicken out, use a cooking thermometer to make sure the thickest part of the thigh registers 180º.
