2 C. Flour
1 C. Butter or Margarine
1 C. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 12-oz. Pkg. semi-sweet chocolate Chips
1 C. chopped Walnuts or Pecans
1 Egg yolk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Cream butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt until blended. Pat into a rectangle, 13” x 10” on greased baking sheet, leaving 1” around edge of baking sheet. Bake 20 min. until nicely browned. It will be soft. Remove from oven and immediately pour chocolate chips over top. Let stand until soft (about a minute); spread evenly over surface. Sprinkle with nuts, and press lightly into chocolate while still soft. Cut into small squares while warm. Makes 6 to 7 dz.
