3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
3 T ice cold water
2-3 T additional ice cold water

Directions:
Sift salt with flour Use pastry blender to cut in shortening into flour until shortening is the size of small peas. Sprinkle ICE cold water into the above mixture. Put lid on bowl and shake to combine. Add another 2-3 Tbsp ICE cold water to the above mixture. Put lid on bowl and shake again to combine ingredients. Shape dough into two balls. Do not overmix. Roll out one ball for the bottom crust and place in pie pan Roll out other ball for the top crust. Bake one crust pie shells at 450º until firm and golden brown. Bake 2 crust pies as directed for each filling.
