4 quarts popped corn
1 and 1/2 cups salted cocktail peanuts
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups packed brown sugar
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Remove any unpopped kernels. In a large bowl add peanuts and popcorn. Set aside.

Bring brown sugar, corn syrup, salt, and margarine to a boil in the microwave. Stir well and cook for five minutes and remove from heat and stir in soda. Stir well until light and foamy. Pour over popcorn and nuts. Stir until well coated. Divide caramel corn mixture into two buttered 9"x13" inch pans. Place in preheated 250º oven and bake for one hour, stirring every fifteen minutes. Cool and place in tightly covered container.
