2 lbs. powdered sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
1 egg white
1 tsp. white vanilla
pinch salt
1/4 c. or more water

Directions:
Put all ingredients in mixing bowl, beat fast and thoroughly, adding enough water to spread. For adding decorations, use less water.

This is Paula Thompson's recipe for decorating cakes. She did a beautiful job of decorating cakes. If I make angel food cake I use half of the recipe.
