1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
1/4 c packed brown sugar
1 c flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 egg, separated
1 c chopped nuts
raspberry jam (seedless)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well, mix in egg yolk. Add flour and baking powder. Form into small balls, dip into raw egg white. Remove with spoon and roll in nuts. Place on greased cookie sheet, pressing hole into each center. Bake at 350º for 8 mins, then press the centers again and bake 8 minutes more. Fill center with jam while cookie is still warm.
