Ingredients: 1 - 16 oz package oreo chocolate sandwich cookies, divided 1 - 8 oz package cream cheese, softened 2 - 8 oz packages baker’s semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted

Directions:Crush 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; reserve for later use. Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter. Dip balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover chocolate can be stored at room temperature for another use.) Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.
Tip: Cookies can also be finely crushed in a re-sealable plastic bag using a rolling pin. |

Notes: “These are always a huge hit. I usually make them with almond bark to have the vanilla flavor, then you can melt a Hershey bar and drizzle it over them with a fork for a little decoration. I have also made them with peanut butter oreos, which are AWESOME!! I have found the best way to mix the cookies and cream cheese is with your hands, it's messy and kind of gross but it works. I don't usually blend my cookies up small enough to use a mixer. Just make sure your hands are clean!” Amanda
