2 1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg

Directions:
preheat oven to 350º. In medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. In mixer bowl cream butter and sugar til light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla, gradually beat in dry ingredients til well blended.

If too soft, refrigerate. Press dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-12 minutes and then cool.
