1 cup butter
1 lb. lt brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 cup lt. corn syrup
1- 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a foil lined 9" square pan. Melt the butter in large pan over moderate heat-add sugar, salt and mix well. Add corn syrup and milk, stir constantly until mixture boils. Reduce heat to medium and cook stirring constantly, until candy thermometer reads 240º, or a small amount of mixture forms a firm ball when dropped into cold water. Remove from heat and gently stir in vanilla. Pour into one corner of pan, letting mixture flow to its own level. Let cool and refrigerate overnight. Bring to room temperature and cut into squares. Wrap in wax paper
