1 box brown sugar (2 1/4 c, firmly packed)
1 1/2 c white sugar
3 large eggs
1 lb butter (4 sticks)
2 Tbsp vanilla
6 c flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
BIG bag of semi-sweet chips

Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter to room temperature in a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Add both sugars and cream together. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Add vanilla and dry ingredients until mixed well. Add chips and bake rounded Tbsp of dough at 325 degrees for about 10 minutes. Don't overcook! (unless you like them crisp).

These are just the best. Much better than the recipe on the Nestle package. You can add 1 cup of chopped walnuts or oats if you want, for added texture and flavor.
