1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/8 teaspoon red pepper
1/8 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/4 cup orange juice
4 cups pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250º. Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat, then add dry ingredients. Add orange juice stirring until completely dissolved. Reduce heat, add pecans and continue stirring until well coated. Transfer pecans to baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour stirring every 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes - stir while cooling. Sprinkle with sanding sugar and continue to stir. Transfer pecans to clean, cool baking sheet and use hands to keep pecans separated while cooling.
