4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 package yeast
1 1/4 cup butter
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Filling:
1 cup nuts, finely chopped
1 cup sugar
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º

Sift flour and salt, yeast into flour. Cut in butter. Add egg yolks, cream and vanilla. Mix. Divide dough into 6 parts. Dredge pastry cloth with powdered sugar. Roll each piece into a circle about 9" in diameter. Cut into 8 wedges, as you would cut pie. Place about 1 tbsp. filling on each wedge at wide end and roll toward point. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
