2 29-oz. cans Cling Peaches
1 29-oz. can Pear Halves
1/4 cup White Vinegar
1/4 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Whole Allspice
1/2 tsp. Whole Cloves
4 3" long Cinnamon Sticks
small square of cheese cloth
1 lb. Ribier Grapes (red grapes)

Make 1-3 days ahead.

Drain syrup from peaches and pears into a 2 quart saucepan. Stir in vinegar. Tie allspice, cloves and cinnamon sticks in cheese cloth. Add to syrup mixture. Heat to boiling over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes to blend flavors. Remove saucepan from stove. Cool slightly; about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cut grapes in half and discard seeds. Combine fruit and syrup mixtures in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate over night, stirring occasionally. Discard cheese cloth and serve. 16 servings
