1 loaf frozen bread dough
2 eggs (I use the whites only)
1 package Good Seasons Dressing Mix (dry)
ham slices
mozzarella cheese
pepperoni
salami slices
any other veggies/meats/cheese you want it filled with
Directions:
Directions:
Thaw the frozen bread so it can be patted out to fit in a 9 x 12" pan. Do not let it rise. Beat the eggs and Good Seasons dressing together and brush over bread after it has been rolled out. Line the middle third (long ways/center) with meat and cheese. Cut the side sections of the bread (in toward the center one third) in 1" strips so the dough can be brought over the top and braided. Brush remaining dressing mix over braid. Bake at 350º until golden brown. 20-30 min.
Variations: Veggie calzone: zucchini, tomato, peppers, onions, cucumbers, mushrooms, etc.

This recipe was included in a cook book made by Cameron's first grade class. The recipe is by his friend Austin Wiant. Like Austin's family we also made this as one of our favorite dishes through the years. Great for family parties, Super Bowl and dinner. This bread bakes great if you don't have the time to braid it. Just fold over the two sides, brush with egg mixture and bake.
