1/2 cup tapioca
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soak tapioca in 2 cups of water overnight in refrigerator in a 2 qt. saucepan. Drain water. add milk, salt, sugar and beaten eggs. Mix well. Cook on medium heat until thickened (about 45-60 minutes), stirring constantly in order to avoid milk scorching. Pearls should be translucent. Remove from heat add vanilla. Serve warm or chilled.
