½ tsp. cayenne pepper
1 stick butter, at room temperature
1 lb. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 c. all purpose flour
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º F. Cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add cheese and mix well, and then salt and pepper, mixing well. Place the dough into a cookie press and pipe 2 in. strips on a greased cookie sheet.
Baked 10 to 15 minutes until lightly brown. Cool on wire racks.
