Topping:
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 tsp cinnamon
6 T. butter
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans (optional)
Peel:
2 lbs Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
3 T. sugar
2 tsp flour
1/2 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400º. Combine apples, sugar, flour and vanilla in large bowl. Toss to coat. Put in 8x8x2 dish. Sprinkle topping evenly over fruit. Bake until fruit is tender when pierced with knife, about 45 minutes.
Topping:Mix together dry ingredients, rub in butter until mixture clumps. Sprinkle over apple mixture and bake.
