3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
5 T sugar
1 T. baking powder
1 stick butter
1 can beer
Shredded cheese
Jalapenos

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Add shredded cheese and jalapenos. Pour in beer and mix together. The dough is kind of lumpy and clumpy and thick. Melt butter and pour half of it into bottom of bread pan. Add dough mixture and pour remaining butter over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

After spending $10 a loaf for beer bread at the Farmers Market, I decided I could figure out how to make it myself. After several “tweaks” this is what I came up with and it has been a big hit.
