"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 oz linguine cooked and rinsed (salad macaroni-now called Ditallini is what I use; small shells-anything works)
4 scallions
1 carrot, shredded
1 tomato, chopped (I use cherry tomatoes)
1 medium to large stalk of raw broccoli, cut into small pieces

Dressing:
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
Juice of one lemon
1/2 clove garlic, mashed
a few drops of Tabasco

2 Tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch the broccoli by quickly placing in boiling water - remove immediately. I do this before cutting it up and it helps to bring out the rich green color but it is not necessary. Cook the pasta and rinse. Mix pasta, scallions, carrot, tomato and broccoli. Combine dressing ingredients. Add to pasta mixture. Chill in serving bowl so it is cold before serving. Add sesame seeds prior to serving.
