1 c. butter or shortening of choice
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. black walnut extract
Pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening with sugar and beaten eggs. Mix dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients. Add coconut and flavorings. Form into balls, put on greased cookie sheet and top each with a pecan.
Bake a 350º for 10-12 minutes.
