3 cups Sugar
1 cup Salad Oil
4 Eggs, beaten
3 1/2 cups Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 cups (1 can) cooked Pumpkin

Mix in order given. Bake in 350º oven for 75 minutes.

Grandma used to bake these in greased pumpkin or vegetable cans that hold 14-15 oz. It takes 6 cans for this recipe. They were then beautiful round slices that we would spread with cream cheese. Pretty and yummy!!

You can bake in loaf pans, too, filling cans or pans 1/2 full.
