Cake:
1 c. butter
1 c. water
1/4 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 chopped pecans (optional)
Frosting:
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. plus T. milk
1 box (1 lb) confectioner's sugar, sifted
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Combine butter, water and cocoa in saucepan over medium heat; heat until butter melts, stirring constantly. Add sugar, flour, salt, eggs, soda, sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Bring to a low simmer. Pour into a well greased 15x10x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Begin making the frosting while the cake is in the oven.
Frosting: Combine butter, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan: bring to a low boil. Add remaining ingredients and mix well with electric mixer. Spread over hot sheet cake as soon as it comes out of the oven and sprinkle with pecans. Let cool.
