Green Beans
2 cans French style green beans
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (sliced)
½ tsp. allspice
¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
2 cups water
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tbsp. shortening

Riz (Rice)
½ cup noodles
1 tbsp. shortening
2 cups rice
4 cups water
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté garlic and onion in shortening. Add ground beef and cook until meat is browned. Add allspice, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Add 2 cans of green beans and water. Stir. Add lemon juice. Cook on high until liquid boils. Then, reduce heat and cook for approximately 20 minutes.

To prep the rice, sauté noodles in shortening. Add rice. Add 2 cups water. When mixture boils, reduce heat and cook on low for 10 minutes.

To serve, spoon rice in a bowl. Add green beans mixture. Serve hot.
