Crushed ice
Juice of ¼ lemon
3 oz. gin
1 tsp. crabapple jelly
Fine-mesh strainer
Chilled martini glass
Apple slice, for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice.
Add the lemon juice, gin and apple jelly to the cocktail shaker.
Cover the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.
Using a fine-mesh strainer, strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish the drink with a fresh apple slice and serve right away.

Try adding 2 tbsp. of apple brandy to this recipe for an extra kick.
If you want to add more natural fruit flavor to this drink, you can add 1/2 oz. of unfiltered apple juice to the cocktail shaker before mixing. Unfiltered apple juice works better than filtered apple juice when mixed with alcohol.
