1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter (or margarine)
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tbsp. water
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 oz. Andes mints
pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In large bowl cream sugars and butter. Add eggs and water and beat well. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to egg mixture. Chill dough overnight (it is important that the dough be well chilled). Wrap each mint completely in cookie dough. Place 2" apart on lightly greased cookie sheets ad put a nut half on each cookie. Bake 7-9 minutes until golden brown. Allow to coolk thoroughly on wire racks.
