pork ribs (baby back or country style)
BBQ sauce
liquid smoke
garlic powder
salt and pepper

Season ribs with garlic, salt and pepper. Lightly sprinkle ribs with Liquid Smoke and massage-in. Put ribs in Ziplock bag and allow to marinate 1+ hours in refrigerator. Spray broiler pan with Pam for easy clean-up. Add small amount of water to bottom of broiling pan for moisture. Bake,covered with foil, at 350º for 1-1/2 hours, . Remove from oven, pour off grease, and cover ribs liberally with your favorite BBQ sauce. Reduce heat to 200 degrees. Cover and continue baking 1 hour. Remove foil, re-sauce, and broil ribs 3-5 minutes per side or until sauce caramelizes.

I tend to use a spicy honey BBQ sauce.

If you like to use the grill for a charcoal flavor: put sauced ribs on grill for a few minutes after baking at 350, covered for 1-1/2 hours. Grill and turn just long enough for caramelization to begin. Remove and return to oven on low temperature, covered for 1 hour.
