1 can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1 can cherry pie filling
1 yellow cake mix (butter type cake)
1 whole stick of butter
walnuts or pecans (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Using a 9x13 pan, spread the crushed pineapple in bottom of pan. Put the cherry pie filling on top of pineapple and sprinkle dry cake mix over the cherry pie filling making sure to sprinkle it evenly. Cut up the stick of butter into small pieces and distribute over the top of the dry cake mix. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Put walnuts on the top of cake the last ten minutes of baking. Let cool and serve with ice cream.
