12 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
4 green onions, chopped
4 lge. baking potatoes
2/3 c. oleo
6 c. milk
2/3 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1-1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
8 oz. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Bake potatoes and scoop out, reserving pulp.
Melt oleo on low heat; add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk gradually; cook until thick. Stir in potato pulp and half of onions and bacon. Cook until heated. Add salt, pepper and cheese. Stir in sour cream.
Serve soup garnished with remaining onions and bacon.
