1/3 c. green onions, chopped
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
6 T. grated Parmesan cheese
2 lb. ground beef
1 loaf Italian bread, cut into 1-inch slices
1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 T. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 c. (8 oz.) mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
1 (28-oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 c. water
2 garlic cloves, minced

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the onions, crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1-in balls; place on a greased rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 400º for 15-20 minutes or until no longer pink.
Meanwhile, arrange bread in a single layer in an ungreased 13x9-inch baking dish (all bread might not be used). Combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning and pepper; spread over the bread. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. mozzarella.
Combine the sauce, water and garlic; add meatballs. Pour over cheese mixture; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Bake, uncovered at
350º for 30 minutes or until heated through.
