3 cups dry fine bread crumbs
1 cup sugar
1 cup ground suet
2 cups raisins
½ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in a little hot water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients except baking soda and vanilla. Then add last two ingredients. Mix well and pour into well-greased mold. Cover tightly with waxed paper. Steam three to four hours in double boiler or in the oven in a pan of water.
