6 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. cream of tarter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Part 2:
6 egg yolks
3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Part 1: Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tarter until stiff. Sift flour and sugar. Fold into the egg white mixture. Add vanilla. Let stand till second part is finished.
Part 2: Beat egg yolks and salt till light and cream colored. Sift flour and sugar. Gradually fold into egg yolk mixture. Combine baking powder with the hot water and vanilla; fold into egg yolk mixture.
Pour egg white mixture into an ungreased angel food pan. Cover with egg yolk mixture. With knife cut into the cake mixture to make it marbled. Do not mix too much. Bake in 350º oven. Invert pan till cool.
