5 lbs Pork spare ribs

RUB: (optional)
3 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp dried minced onions
1/2 tbsp dried rosemary
3 tsp dried sage
3 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp dried lemon peel
mixed all together.

If using the Rub: rub the seasoning onto ribs. You do not need to use all of the rub just enough to cover the ribs, cover and refrigerate for at least on hour. Preheat oven to 350º. Place you ribs on a greased shallow baking sheet pan, Bake for an hour and a half with meaty sides up. Brush on BBQ sauce of your choice and bake another 45 minutes brushing with additional sauce frequently.
