1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 box butter yellow cake mix
1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. light rum
4 eggs

Glaze:
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. rum
1/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour tube pan. Put nuts around the bottom. In bowl, put cake mix, pudding and water. Beat a little, then add oil and rum. Beat for a minute or two, then add eggs, one at a time.

Pour into pan. Bake at 325º for one hour.

Just before cake is done, prepare glaze by combining sugar, butter, rum and water. As soon as cake is done, pour glaze over hot cake. (Stick toothpick holes around top of cake so glaze will soak into cake.)
