1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. lard, shortening or butter
2 c. flour
1 or 2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk mixed with 1 rounded tsp. baking soda
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients to make a crumbly mixture; set aside 1/2 c. for the topping. To the remainder, add 1 or 2 eggs and salt, mixing well. Stir in milk/soda mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and top with reserved crumbs. Bake at 375º for 35 minutes.
