3 cups flour
2 ½ cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Sift together all dry ingredients. Add shortening with a fork. Add unbeaten eggs and flavoring; mix well. Roll out very thin and cut with floured cookie cutter. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
