5 lb. lean boneless brisket
1 can beef broth
1/4 lemon juice
1 small bottle soy sauce
1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup ketchup
1 cup hot ketchup
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
1/2 cup. Worchestershire© sauce

Place meat in a large glass or plastic pan. Combine beef broth, lemon juice, soy sauce, 1 Tbs. liquid smoke and garlic powder. Pour over meat and marinate in the refrigerator overnight or at least 12 hours. Place meat and marinade in large pan and cover tightly with foil. Bake in preheated oven at 275º for 6 hours. Do not uncover to check meat while cooking.
Meanwhile prepare barbecue sauce by combining ketchup, hot ketchup, wine vinegar, sugar, 2 Tbs. liquid smoke and Worchestershire sauce. Bring to boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
To serve, slice brisket. Serve barbecue sauce on the side. Serves 10.
