6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 beaten egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. seasoned bread crumbs or regular with Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cut chicken into 1/2 inch strips, place in a plastic bag. Combine egg, buttermilk and garlic powder; pour over chicken; seal and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours. In another plastic bag combine flour, bread crumbs, salt and baking powder. Drain chicken discarding buttermilk mixture. Place chicken in bag with flour; shake!! Cook in oil at 375º for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
