1 1/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
4 large eggs (separated)
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 tsp cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
Mix sugar, flour, salt, egg yolks, buttermilk and butter.
In another bowl beat egg whites and cream of tarter until very, very stiff, Then fold into first mixture.
Pour into large unbaked pie shell (10 inch) and bake for 45 minutes.
