Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs. powdered sugar (I prefer C&H)
1 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk or water (I use milk) may need more
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth; the longer you beat, the fluffier the icing. Using a big stand mixer will give you the best results. The icing is subject to humidity. Put in the milk (water) and beat until peaks form. You might have to add more milk after beating thoroughly to get the consistency you want. To ice the cake, you will want it thinner than for piping and making flowers.
