1 can Pillsbury Big & Flaky Crescents
2 apples, peeled and cored (Granny Smith are good)
3/4 stick butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar (may substitute Splenda)
1 12 oz can Diet Mountain Dew or apple juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cut each apple into large slices.
Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll.
Place rolls in 9 x 13 baking dish.
In small saucepan melt butter; add sugar and cinnamon.
Mix well & pour over crescent rolls.
Pour Diet Mountain Dew or apple juice over rolls.
Bake for 45 minutes.

Add chopped pecans if desired. Put a tray under the pan as the juices may run over into oven.
