1-1.2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
4 eggs
3 c. flour
2 - 21-oz. cans cherry or blueberry pie filling

Glaze:
2 c. powdered sugar
2 - 4 T. milk (or buttermilk)

350º. 45 minutes or until golden brown - 10 x 15 jelly roll or two 9 x 9s.
Blend first six ingredients in large bowl on low speed scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high 3 minutes scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in flour and spread 2/3 of batter in pans and spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining batter by tablespoons onto pie filling (will not cover) and bake.

Prepare glaze and drizzle over warm coffee cake.
