An Open house after Centaurus High School Graduation

Lots of big balloons were tied to the light fixtures and also outside in the front yard and entryway. Fun napkins and plates.

Cookies: Fresh baked chocolate chip using dough from Costco.
Packaged ones from W-Mart...the fancier ones.

Assorted ice cream......lots of vanilla
Ice water in punch bowls, with floating lime slices

Mints in a bowl.




Toppings:
Homemade Hot Fudge
Fresh strawberry (strawberries blended with sugar and a little water).
Purchased toppings: caramel, English toffee, pineapple.
M&M’s
Maraschino cherries with stems
Chopped nuts
Chopped Cool Mint Cups (Sam’s from W-Mart)
Crumbled Chocolate Chip Cookies

A large bowlful of melon chunks for those who preferred something else.

Pretty tablecloths and fancy dishes were used. To save time last minute, Carol and Kelly arranged the empty serving dishes on the table beforehand and put a little note in each one telling what should be put in that dish or tray. That made it easy for those who were helping.

I thought this might be a good thing to enter in the cookbook for those who might need an idea for entertaining. This was fairly easy and a big hit!
