Cake:
1/2 c (1 stick) softened butter
1 c granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk

Streusel:
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan.
In large bowl, using electric mixer on medium speed, beat together butter & sugar until light & fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in vanilla.
In medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder & baking soda.
Using a wooden spoon, alternately stir flour mixture & buttermilk into the butter mixture until batter is smooth.
Pour batter into prepared pan spreading evenly.
In small bowl, prepare streusel, mixing together brown sugar, nuts & cinnamon.
Sprinkle over the batter in pan.
Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean - 20 to 30 minutes.
Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly.
Cut into squares.
