1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
milk
Peach Filling:
1 1/2 T. cornstarch
4 c. fresh peaches, sliced
1 T. cinnamon
1 T. sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Blend egg, shortening and sugar. Add salt, baking powder, egg and enough milk to make cake batter consistency.
Peach Filling: In saucepan mix cornstarch and peaches. Cook until thick. Place peach mixture in 8x8-inch pan. Spoon the batter on top. Sprinkle top with one tablespoon each of sugar and cinnamon.
