| Barbecue Ribs and Chicken Recipe

      | Ingredients:   | Ingredients:  Chicken legs and thighs, dozen each
 Pork ribs, cut in 2-rib pieces, 2 dozen
 
 Apple juice
 Brown sugar
 Salt and pepper
 
 Barbecue Sauce:
 2/3 cup olive oil
 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
 1/2 cup ketchup
 3 tablespoons minced garlic
 2 tablespoons brown sugar
 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

      | Directions: | Directions:Prepare Barbecue sauce by mixing all ingredients together.  Salt and pepper chicken and rib pieces on both sides.  Over very low coals on outdoor grill sear pieces on both sides.  Brush with barbecue sauce and turn frequently.  
 Place indoor oven rack on lowest level, then preheat oven to 300º.  Place a rack in the bottom of a large roasting pan.  Pour apple juice into pan to cover bottom about a 1/2".  Place chicken and ribs on rack in pan.  Sprinkle generously with brown sugar on each layer.  Cover tightly.
 
 Place pan in oven and reduce temperature to 225º.  DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR.  Cook for 4 hours.  If not ready to serve at this time reduce oven temperature to 180º until ready to serve.
