3-5 lb beef brisket
1 envelope Lipton's Onion Soup mix
1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
1 empty chili sauce bottle of water
3/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.

Place brisket in a roasting pan just a little larger than the brisket.

In a bowl, mix together the chili sauce, water, Onion Soup mix and brown sugar.

Pour the soup mixture over the meat.

Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and roast for about 1 1/2 hours.

Remove from oven and transfer meat to a cutting board. Using an electric knife, thinly slice the meat and return it to the roasting pan. Cover.

Continue roasting 30-45 minutes.

If sauce appears too thin, remove meat from the pan and reduce the sauce on the stove top until desired consistency.
