1 lb. cubed venison (can use beef),
1/2 cup flour,
salt and pepper to taste,
1 tbsp. vegetable oil,
1/4 tsp. onion powder,
1/4 tsp. garlic powder,
1/4 cup white wine.
15 oz. can tomato sauce,
6 oz. can tomato paste,
3-6 oz. water,
1 onion,
1 clove garlic,
1/2 cup ketchup,
1-1/2 tbsp vinegar,
1 tsp. sugar,
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Brown cubes of venison in 1 tbsp. vegetable oil in a cast iron fry pan until browned. Sprinkle the meat with the garlic and onion powder while browning. after browned, place the venison in a crock pot set on high heat. Place the 1/4 cup of white wine in the frying pan to loosen all the brown bits. Then add the sliced onion and clove of garlic. When softened, remove and put into crock pot with the meat. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste and water. At this time, add the ketchup, vinegar, sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Cook on high heat in crock pot until it boils then move the heat to low and cook for 8 hours or longer if desired.
